 The Parat C from Draeger Safety is a lightweight, portable easy to don smoke escape hood designed for self rescue in the event of a fire. The Parat C protects the wearer for a minimum of 15 minutes from smoke, carbon monoxide and toxic gases normally present during a fire. It is ideal as a personal escape device which can be used in emergency situations occurring in homes, office or apartment buildings, schools, hospitals, plant facilities and hotels.

Please Note: Do not remove the Parat C hood from its protective package unless it is to be used in an emergency. The filter seal must remain intact until intended for use so that the Parat C will offer the fullest protection. It is important that the user read the instructions for use booklet included before use. The Parat C is not intended for use in atmospheres with less than 19.5% oxygen. The Parat C has a no-maintenance service life of 5 years.
