Breathing Air in the Low Pressure Range

The quality of breathing air can be tested in accordance to air purity standards (i.e. CGA Grade D or better or DIN 3188) according to ANSI specifications by means of quantitative measurements of the contaminats. Aerotest Level A is suited for examining the quality of the air supplied by compressors or compressed air cylinders.

Concentrations of carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, water content and oil can be determined readily on the spot in 60 minutes or less.

Principal of Operation

All components of the Aerotest Systems are accommodated in a sturdy plastic case in a straightforward and space saving manner. The Aerotest System is directly attached to the compressed air cylinder or compressor using the means of connection included in the system.

The flow rates that are required for the various tests are obtained using a precision control valve that is part of the flowmeter assembly.

The flowmeter outlet is fitted with a rubber tube holder for easy placement of the Draeger detector tube.

The Aerotest Level A is for use by the military, pharmaceutical industry, food industry, environmental engineering, manufacturing, medical industry and hospitals, power plants, consultants and contractors, offshore industry and paint companies.
