The demands of today's industrial environment require a simple and accurate method to measure a wide range of soil, liquid and air contaminants. The Draeger Colorimetric Tube System enables the measurement of more than 350 gases, vapors and aerosols on the spot. With this system, consisting of short term Draeger Tubes and the Accuro and Accuro 2000 Pumps, results can be obtained without expensive sampling equipment or laboratory analysis.
The Accuro 2000 is a battery driven, electronically controlled instrument which is used with the Accuro sampling pump to perform a preprogrammed number of strokes. It is used for all applications except those in combustible atmospheres. The Accuro pump is placed into the protective housing and then the front cover is closed. After inserting the Draeger Tube into the end of the pump, the required number of strokes is programmed and indicated on the LCD. Simply press the start the button.
After each stroke, the remaining number of strokes is displayed. An up to-electric sensor controls the activation of each pump stroke, guaranteeing safe and accurate measurements. When the final stroke has been completed, the preselected number of strokes reappears. The LCD also displays a low battery condition. The Accuro 2000 is ideal for repetitive sampling or investigations of very low (even ppb) concentrations.
