Draeger Safety X-am 5600 6 Gas Detector with Infrared
The Draeger X-am 5600 offers innovation in the palm of your hand with unprecedented protection from the market's smallest, infrared-capable, six gas personal monitor.
The X-am 5600 works the way you work with single handed operation that feels natural. It is a cinch to operate with a simple, two button control panel. It maintains uninterrupted accuracy when worn in a pocket with its upper and front side mounted gas inlets.
Dustproof and watertight monitors are only as reliable as their sensors. That is why Draeger starts by engineering its infrared sensors to last up to eight years, keeping total cost of ownership low and instrument uptime high. In fact, Draeger's 5 year warranty on the IR sensors exceeds the industry average by 60%.
The X-am 5600 utilizes new dual infrared sensors that can be used for the measurement of explosive substances or CO2. For those applications where the reliable measurement of explosive substances and CO2 is specifically needed, the advantages of both can be achieved by Draeger's dual IR CO2/EX sensor. This innovative 2 in 1 design provides added protection and versatility by making room for an additional sensor.
The X-am 5600 protects against a full range of explosive gases b monitoring both hydrocarbons and hydrogen gas. By combining both infrared EX and electrochemical miniature H2 sensor technology, the Draeger X-am 5600 is able to measure hydrogen gas - something that can't be one with infrared technology alone.
The X-am 5600 can be equipped with over 25 combinations of Draeger sensors, which can be easily exchanged, calibrated and converted with Draeger's CC-Vision software.
The Dreager X-am 5600 is suitable for use in areas classified as Class 1, Division 1, where explosive atmospheres are always expected.
The X-am 5600 can be used in areas where, until now, only catalytic Ex sensors have been used. Why? Because Draeger infrared sensor technology provides increased poison resistance against normal contaminants of Cat EX sensors.
There is no need to invest in new or additional equipment because the X-am 5600 works seamlessly with your existing Draeger X-am Bump Test Stations, pumps and calibration stations.
