A fire along with the hazardous smoke and fumes it gives off can take you by surprise. The Draeger Parat C Fire escape Hood is designed to help you escape fire safely by filtering out toxic smoke and fumes - allowing you to breathe safely for a minimum of 15 minutes while escaping to a safe environment.
For years, fire escape hoods have been installed and used during emergencies in hospitals, nursing homes, industrial sites, and even ships. Fire departments use them when rescuing people from burning buildings. The Drageer Parat C fire escape hood protects its wearer for a minimum of 15 minutes from hazardous fumes and gases which are produced during a fire. Its filter is highly efficient in filtering out carbon monoxide and other fire related gases, fumes and particles.
The specially designed hood of the Parat C provides protection against flying sparks and allows bearded users and spectacle wearers a safe escape. Due to the universal size of the hood and inner half mask the Parat C fits almost everyone.
Escaping from a fire leaves you no time for blurred vision. The Drageer large visor is treated with an anti-fog coating which keeps your field of vision clear during the escape.
According to your application you can choose from five different packaging options of the Draeger Parat C; an environmentally friendly cardboard single pack, the soft pack easy to take along, the traveler pack in a well protected plastic case, the heavy-duty box tried and tested in heavy industry or the twin pack, which holds two escape hoods in a transparent wall mounted box.
