The 5500 Series combines the comfort and design of the popular 7700 Series half mask with the low cost and convenience of a disposable. It is compatible with all North cartridges and filters. The Series 5500 is available in easy to order convenience packs. Convenience packs combine the most commonly used gas and vapor cartridges and/or particulate filters with the mask to form a complete respirator.
Features
- Made of an extremely soft non-allergenic elastomer for comfort and fit. Contoured sealing flange eliminates discomfort caused by pressure points on facial nerves. The design of the nose area provides excellent comfort and fit.
- Low dead air space improves worker comfort by limiting rebreathing of exhaled air.
- Direct cartridge to facepiece seal minimizes replacement parts and simplifies maintenance.
- Three overlapping sizes will comfortably fit most users.
- Backpack adapter allows users to locate cartridge & filters out of the work zone by placing them on the user's back. Ideal for tight or high heat workplaces.
