Draeger X-am 2000 has been specially designed for personal monitoring use. The 1 to 4 gas detector reliably measures combustible gases and vapors, as well as oxygen, carbon monoxide and hydrogen sulfide. In combination with an external pump, the Draeger X-am 2000 can be easily adapted to measure confined spaces before entry. Reliable measurement technology, long sensor life and easy operation guarantee maximum safety at extremely low cost of ownership.
Ergonomic Design - The Draeger X-am 2000's low weight and unique mobile phone design provides users a high level of comfort and convenience. Thanks to the practical two button operation and straightforward menu, the instrument can be used intuitively.
Vapor Sensitive Ex Measurement - For improved safety when facing unknown hazards: the catalytic Ex sensor, calibrated to methane, not only responds quickly to explosive gases, but offers a high level of sensitivity to combustible organic vapors, thus providing dependable warnings in the event of explosive hazards.
Long Life Electrochemical Sensors - DragerSensors stand for innovative technology at the highest level and offer an expected lifetime up to five years. The Draeger X-am 2000 features the latest series of powerful electrochemical DraegerSensors from the miniaturized XXS generation.
Robust and Water Tight - The Draeger X-am 2000 is tough: water and dust resistant to IP67, the instrument remains fully functional and ready for use even after being dropped in water. The integrated rubber protection and shock proof sensors ensure additional resistance to impact and vibration. Furthermore, the Draeger X-am 2000 is able to withstand electromagnetic interference.
Gas Inlets On Two Surfaces - The functional design ensures that gas can enter the instrument from the top and the front, so even if it's accidentally put in a pocket, it will still provide reliable warnings against gas hazards.
External Pump - An optional external pump with up to 20 meters of hose can be used as the solution for applications such as confined space entry into tanks, pipelines, etc. When the instrument is placed in the cradle, the pump automatically starts. The change between diffusion and pump operation is quickly and easily possible without any need for additional tools or steps.
A Range of Alarm Functions - In alarm situations, the Draeger X-am 2000 provides three different types of warning:
- Loud, audible multi tone alarm
- Visual 180 degree alarm
- Built in vibration alarm
Flexible Power Supply - The Draeger X-am 2000 can be used with either the standard alkaline or optional NiMH batteries. In addition, it can be configured with a T4 battery, which can be recharged while still inside the instrument. Charging can take place in the workshop or in a vehicle, to suit your needs. The operating time with alkaline batteries excluding the Cat Ex Sensor is about 700 hours. At a daily working rate of eighty hours, this equates to 87 days.
Intelligent Data Management - Everything's under control: the Draeger X-am 2000 is equipped as standard with an data logger. The data can be transmitted via infrared interface to a PC and analyzed using the Draeger GasVision software.
Optimum Solutions for Function Tests and Adjustments - Simple, fast and professional: from a function test to complete documentation, users have a range of practical solutions to choose from for total peace of mind. The Draeger E-Cal automatic test and calibration station and the Draeger Bump Test Station are ideal complements to the instrument, saving time and minimizing your workload.
User Registration in Seconds - An absolute must to ensure the right person gets the right instrument: the optional registration set, when used in conjunction with the Draeger CCVision software, allows individualized issue of instruments and a quick check of completeness upon their return.
