The MiniBump is an ultra small gas generator specifically designed for "bump" testing hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide, chlorine and hydrogen gas sensors. It is microprocessor controlled and provides up to a 120 second sample of gas at a sufficient concentration to send standard gas detection equipment into alarm (assuming alarm points set at OSHA TWA levels). Each cell will produce a minimum of 250 and up to a maximum of 1,000 individual tests. The MiniBump is designed for functionally testing gas detection equipment, not for calibration purposes.
The MiniBump uses only two AA alkaline batteries and easily fits inside your shirt pocket, or on your belt, between tests of your detection system. Best of all, the MiniBump gas generator is extremely cost effective! The field replaceable electrochemical generating cell costs about as much as a disposable cylinder, but provides up to 1,000 bump tests.
