Supervision Plus Software
 Supervision Plus is a software program that integrates SEC field devices into a hazard event monitoring system. Supervision Plus runs in the background of a computer running Windows® operating system. Each device is displayed as an icon on the computer screen. The icon has four boxes that will change colors for various conditions allowing the operator to see at a glance if any device is in alarm or fault. Each device has a data file that is continuously updated storing information on the computer's hard drive. The stored information can be viewed, graphed and printed for hard copy results. Supervision Plus can be used in an active mode controlling the network or in a passive mode.

Configuration Options

  • SEC field devices such as the SEC 2000 and SEC 1500 gas detectors and can be connected together on the RS-485 data highway. The data highway requires a shielded twisted pair of wires typically (24 to 16 AWG).
  • Other devices such as heat and smoke detectors can be connected to the data highway by use of a SEC 4853 DAIM module
  • Software links can be added for interfacing directly into graphic packages such as Intellution or Wonderware
  • Supervision Plus can communicate directly with the field devices or can be used in a supervisory mode when using SEC 4100 system controller
  • Supervision Plus can directly control multiple SEC 4855 relay modules, which provides up to 16 programmable relays per module
