NacroWipe Kits are simple, sensitive and economical on the spot tests for all surfaces.
Developing solution is applied to the wipe instead of the test surface, eliminating the risk of sample dilution and ensuring accurate results. NarcoWipes can be used on all surfaces including on ceilings, walls and irregular surfaces.
NacroWipe Kits are intrinsically safe, portable and include everything you need for a site analysis.
Why conduct surface testing?
Surface contamination is important to evaluate as part of a work site analysis for two main reasons:
- Toxic dust may become airborne and be inhaled by workers.
- Toxic residue may touch uprotected skin and be absorbed into the body.
In addition to being inexpensive and immediate screening tools, NacroWipe Kits can be used to easily do the following:
- Evaluate safety programs
- Assess the effectiveness of control procedures
- Determine the effectiveness of cleaning and decontamination procedures
- Perform hazard assessments to comply with OSHA's Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) standards.
NacroWipe Kits are Simple to Use
- Place a few drops on wetting solution on the wipe and rub the target surface.
- Place a few drops of developing solution(s) on the wipe. The number of solution ranges from 1 to 4 depending on the test type and in some cases the result.
- Observe the color display area. If the wipe changes to a specified color, the chemical is present. Typically, the more intense the shade, the greater the chemical concentration.
Please Note: Although the instructions very slightly depending on the test type, each test works in essentially the same way.
