NEW ISEA Statement on Validation of Operation for Direct Reading Portable Gas Monitors

The ISEA passed a new statement in November 2009. This was after 2 ½ years of debate. The definition of a bump test has now been expanded into two methods. There is now a qualitative (bump) and a quantitative (calibration check) for all gas monitors. The new statement is available here. Our AFC Bump Test Station is a useful tool to aid you in your compliance with the ISEA statement.
